Mrs. Lars Larson, Sr, Resident Over 30 Years, Buried Here Saturday

Mrs. Lars Larson, Sr., 67, in poor health for some time, became seriously ill about three weeks prior to her death which occrred at 5:45 o'clock Saturday morning at Ward Memorial hospital in Primghar. Friday afternoon she was taken to the hospital where she died the following morning.

Mrs. Larson came to this country in 1913 and was married to Lars Larson on December 18 of that year. She was well known in this community, having resided near and in Paullina since that time.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Presbyterian church with the Reve. L.R. Middents officiating. Interment followed in Prairie View Cemetery. Pallbearers were Elmer Lundell, Glenn Lemonds, Sam Matson, Carl Gaudian, Herman Jacons and A.L. Livingston.

Anna Peterson Larson was born Sept. 21, 1880 at Arbra, Sweden and died November 8, 1947. She was baptized in the Lutheran church of Sweden.

She is survived by her husband, four daughters,(Bertha), Mrs. Hugo Srock of Blooming Prairie, Minn., (Tresa) Mrs. Gloyd Grahn of Willmar, Minn., (Ann) Mrs. William Martin of Wisconsin Dells, Wis., and (Elsie) Mrs. Harold Lange of Paullina, two sons, John and Lars, Jr., both of Paullina, and 22 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Relatives from a distance attending the services were Mr. and Mrs Floyd Grahn, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Larson, Mr. and Mrs Merle Grahn, Mr..and Mrs. Stanley Kallevig, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Egland and Mr and Mrs. Alvin Thompson, all of Willmar, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Srock and H. L. Srock. Jr., of blooming Prairie. Minn., William Martin and son, Larry, Wisconsin Dells, Wis., Edward Larson. At-water, Minn., Mrs. Ralph Veld-man. Ellendale, Minn., Eric and Herbert Larson Larson Larson, Cherokee, and Mr and Mrs. Palmer Strampe, Sioux City.
