Services Held Saturday For Eldon Larson, 47

Eldon L. Larson, 47, died at 1:44 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, following a 1 1/2 month illness. A lifelong resident of the Paullina area, his home was on a farm in Liberty Township.

Born on Oct. 6, 1921 in O'Brien County, he was married to Elvera B. Reimers on March 4, 1945 at Oakdale Evangelical Church of which he was a member.

He had served on Paullina Community School Board and also had worked on Gaza Co-Op Board. Mr Larson was sponsor of the F.CY.F. and the Area F.C Y.F Youth groups. He also served on the Board at Oakdale as Missionary Treasurer and Trustee.

Surviving are his wife, Elvera and four children, Cheryl Rae of Deerfield, Ill., Bruce LeRoy of Seattle, Washington, and Audrey Kay and Donna Fay, at home; also his parents, Mr. and Mrs, Ole Larson of Paullina; five sisters, Mrs. Lloyd Carlson of Meriden, Mrs. B. V Ludwig of Park Ridge, Ill,, Mrs. Robert DeJong of San Francisco, Calif, Mrs, Keith Mortenson of Alta and Mrs. Karl Kletschske, Sioux City.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m Saturday at the Oakdale Evangelical church with Rev. Earl Gunsolley officiating Burial was in Prairie View cemetery at Paullina.
