Claribel Hansen, daughter of Robert and Katie Frost, was born July 17, 1912, in Kirksville, Mo. She attended school in the Hartley area.

In 1931 she was married to Harry Hansen. To this union three children were born.

Mrs. Hansen was very active in the affairs of her church. She received much satisfaction from helping other people.

In 1956 she suffered the loss of her son, Marvin, in an accident.

Mrs. Hansen passed away at St. Joseph Hospital in Sioux City Wednesday, June 3, at the age of 51 years, 10 months and 16 days.

Survivors include her husband, Harry; a daughter, Bonnie (Mrs. Floyd Cuthrell) of Independence; a son, Eldon, of Cedar Rapids; eight grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

Her parents, three brothers, and a sister preceded her in death.

Services were held June 8 at St. John's Lutheran church with Rev. H. C. Bentrup officiating. Interment was at St. John's cemetery, Germantown.

Relatives from New York, California, Minnesota, Mississippi, Arizona, and Kansas attended the service.
