Lifetime Resident, Roy Hansen, 64, Dies Here Thursday

Roy E. Hansen, 64, a resident of this community his entire life, died at their farm home south of Paullina Friday evening about 6 o'clock, of a heart attack. He had suffered an earlier attack several years ago but had been in comparatively good health recently.

Born at Paullina he spent most of life fanning in this area. He is survived by his widow and two children, a son, Dean, of Cherokee and daughter, Joan, Minneapolis.

Funeral services were held Monday morning, July 3 at the Presbyterian Church. The Rev. A. E. Goldhorn officiated. Mrs. Jerry Cullison was the soloist with Linda Cullison, the organist. Pallbearers were: Floyd Wallin, Henry J. Lemke, Jr., Richard Grosshauser, Leonard Wallin, Eugene Wallin and Lyle Wallin. Honorary pallbearers were: Fred Grosshauser, William Schoof, Ray Olson, Adolf Heithus, Harry Massrnann and Ray Juhl. Burial was in Prairie View Cemetery, Paullina. Gaudian Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
