Services held for Iva Margaret Kaiser

Iva Margaret Kaiser, age 91 of Paullina, Iowa, died May 2, 1997, at the Wide View Rest Home in Paullina where she has lived since 1994, following a lingering illness.

Iva was a homemaker and had lived the greater part of her life in Paullina, IA. She also worked many years for Jim and Lois Graven of Jefferson as a housekeeper.

She was born on May 15, 1905, at Archer, Iowa, and was the daughter of Iver and Martha Uboe Iverson. She was married to Henry J. Kaiser on February 25, 1930, at Spencer, Iowa. He died in 1961.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Presbyterian Women of the Church at Paullina, Iowa. As a young girl, she attended country school at Archer.

Surviving are two daughters: Cleo Tilton and her husband, Dick of Carroll, Iowa, and Sharon Wolter of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; three grandchildren: Kristi Vaile and her husband, Mike of Williamsburg, Iowa, Buckley Wolter and his special friend Nicki Fetzer of St. Louis, Missouri, and Carrie Wolter of Des Moines, Iowa; two great-grandchildren (twins): Nicole and Kelsey Vaile; also a special Norwegian friend and husband, Janet and Jack Sanford of Carroll, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; five brothers; one.sister, and, an infant daughter, Lois.

Memorial services were held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 6, 1997, at the First Presbyterian Church in Paullina, Iowa, with Rev. Don Freeman officiating. Interment was in the Primghar Cemetery at Primghar, Iowa.

Organist for the service was Mrs. Alice Fintel The family suggests that friends may if they wish, contribute to the Wide View Rest Home in memory of Iva.
