Services held for Wanda Wuddel

Funeral services for Wanda Wuddel were held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 1, 1997 at Gaudian-Eldridge Funeral Home, Primghar. Rev. Don Morrison officiated. Hymns "Abide With Me" and "Rock of Ages" were sung.

Final resting place was at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Primghar, with Gaudian-Eldridge Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Wanda Wuddel, the daughter of Homer and Edna Payne Morrell, was born Feb. 28, 1928 in Grand Junction, Co. She attended and graduated from high school in Paonia, Co.

She was united in marriage to Paul Wuddel. She made her home in Sheldon before moving to Primghar on Nov. 30, 1964.

She made her home at the Primghar Country Estate [County Farm] for many years before moving to the Primghar Care Center. She passed away at the Care Center on Monday, April 28, 1997, reaching the age of 69 years and two months.

Wanda enjoyed reading and fishing. She would always thank the cook for a good meal; her favorite was hot peppers. She helped with the dishes and participated in many activities.

Wanda is survived by three sisters, Mrs. June Fullmer of Fruita, Co., Mrs. Virginia Blackwell of Engelwood, Co., and Mrs. Laurie Ford of Aurora, Co.; also a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
