Mrs. Chris Ebel Killed In Minnesota Automobile Accident

Mrs. Chris Ebel, 67, was killed in a three car collision m Mankato, Minn., Monday night. Her -- suffered a head injury and her son, Roy, driving, was not injured. They are former Paullina residents.

Services will be held in Mankato, and Friday at 2:30 o'clock in St. John Lutheran church in Germantown.

The driver of one of the cars in the Mankato crash was charged by police for driving under the influence of intoxicating beverages, and will come to trial April 13.

Mrs. Ebel was taken to the local hospital after the collision occurred about 5:30. She was operated on for a [] spleen and came out of the operation well, but the doctor said that her heart could not stand the shock. She died about midnight Monday.

[] are her husband; daughters, Nora of Mankato, Mrs. Glenn Busch of Paullina, Harry Brown of Mankato, Melvin J. and [] both of Mankato; and grandchildren. Other survivors are four brothers, Louis of Paullina, George of Truman, Minn., Emil of Iona, Minn., and August Wittrock of Pipestone.

One daughter preceded her in death.

Rev A. E. Vehling will officiate at the Friday services, Burial will be in the St. John Cemetry.
