Emma Wrede

Miss Emma Wrede, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Wrede, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Ed. Lange, on Monday evening, November 25, of pneumonia, following an attack of the influenza.

Miss Wrede had been at the home of her sister caring for the family, who had all been ill some time with the influenza. She was the last to contract the disease, and, after the others were on the road to recovery, she was taken ill. Her death comes as a shock to the family, as she had not been ill long.

Emma Wrede was born Febrary 4, 1894 on the farm in Caledonia township. Later she came to town when her parents moved in and has made it her home since that time. Besides the sorrowing parents, six sisters and two brothers are left to mourn her death.

A private funeral will be held at the family home on Thursday afternoon at two o'clock.
Burial will be in Prairie View cemetery.
