Services are Today

Funeral services for Mrs. Ernest Richter, 95, of Paullina will be held today at 1 p.m., November 18 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Paullina. Mrs. Richter passed away Monday, November 15 at a Sheldon nursing home at the age of 95 years, 5 months and 14 days.

Rev. Melvin Thur will officiate at the services. Pallbearers will be Ronald Kruse, Dennis Daniels, Donald Richter, Kenneth Straub, Robert Richter and James Kruse. Mrs. Marvin Fintel is organist and the congregation will sing two hymns.

Gertrude Richter was born May 31, 1876 at Crete, Illinois. She was married to Ernest Richter on December 21, 1898 at Addison, Illinois. Mr. Richter died in 1946.

Survivors include one son Walter of Paullina, two daughters, Verna, Mrs. Truman Kruse of Granville, Mabel, Mrs. Arthur Daniels of Sheldon, 14 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.

Burial will be at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery at Germantown with Rev. Armin Prowatzke officiating at the graveside services.
