Henry Beermann Sr. passed away at his home in Germantown on Sunday afternoon after an illness of about a year. He had been confined to his bed for several months during which time he gradually failed in health.

Mr. Beermann was a native of Germany but he was one of the pioneers of O'Brien county. He was born in 1850 and at the age of thirty years, or 1880, he came to America and to this county, where he has made his home for a quarter of a century.

Beside the widow there are left to mourn seven children. Three of these who live in Minnesota, Henry Jr., Ernest and Mrs. Lena Stoever, came home to attend the funeral which was held on Wednesday. Rev. Potratz of the Germantown church was in charge and burial was at the cemetery there.
