Mrs. Ludwig Beermann, 80, died Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Orville Rohlfsen, southwest of Paullina. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 12 at the Rohlfsen home at 1:30 and at St John Lutheran church, Germantown, at 2 o'clock with interment in the cemetery there. The Rev. G. B. Eschenbacher was in charge. Pallbearers were Marvin Wittrock, Edwin Wittrock, Kenneth Miller, Ronald Beermann, Laverne Rohlfsen and Orlen Rohlfsen.

Louise Pauling Beermann, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dietrich Pauling was born Feb 2, 1870 at Cook County, Ill. In the year 1881 she came with her parents to Caledonia township, O'Brien county, to live on a farm.

On June 3, 1888 she was married to Ludwig Beerman. To them were born seven children. 1910 found her moving with her husband into Germantown, staying there until 1930 when they made their home with their daughter, Mrs. Orville Rohlfsen.

In 1931 Mr. Beermann preceded his wife in death. She died on Sept. 9 at the age of 80 years, 7 months and 5 days. She is survived by a son, Arthur of Marcus, another son, Walter, having died previously. Five daughters, Frieda Wittrock of Pipestone, Amanda Wittrock of Jackson, Hilda Arvidson of Chicago, Wilma Miller of Larrabee, and Clara Rohlfsen of Marcus. Also 23 grandchildren, 21 greatgrandchildren and one great great grandchild.
