Death Claims Life Of Mrs. C. M. Boyce, Funeral Is Friday

Mrs. C. M. (Jennie) Boyce, 66, prominent Paullina woman, died at the Sioux Valley hospital in Cherokee early Tuesday morning. Her death came as a shock to the entire community, because of her apparent good health until the past several days. She complained of illness last Wednesday, and was taken to the Cherokee hospital Friday for medical attention. Relatives visited her Sunday, and found her in good spirits because she planned to return home this week.

Her death was caused by heart failure. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 o'clock, with the Rev. F. L. Davies officiating. The place of services will not be determined until her daughter, Mrs. Jack Hawkins, arrives from Los Altos, Calif., although it will be either at her home or at the Cowan and Gaudian Funeral home.
