Myers Anders Lund was born in Tieslund, Denmark, Oct. 30, 1880. At the age of 7 he came with his parents to Marcus, Iowa. He received his education at Marcus.
On Sept. 29, 1920, he married Emma Tesch Klein. They spent most of their married life farming in the Marcus and Paullina area. In 1949 they moved to Paullina.
His wife died in 1963. For the past year he made his home at the Wide View Rest Home in Paullina, where death came to him April 28, 1966, at the age of 85 years, 6 months.
Pallbearers were William Ebel, Lloyd Rients, Vernon Hibbing, Elmer Puhrraann, Walter Niebuhr and Alvin Horstman.
He is survived by four daughters and a son, Ray of Paullina, (Neva) Mrs. Norman Ohme; (Grace) Mrs. William Fjeld, Primghar; (Florence) Mrs. Albert Hoger, Hartley; and Mrs. Edna Pauling, Spirit Lake; 14 grand children, and 10 great-grandchildren.
