Services. Held For Orpha Wilson, 81

Mrs. Orpha Idso Wilson, 81, died Tuesday, Nov. 7, 1978 in the Northfield City Hospital, Northfield, Minn.

She was born to Mr. and Olaus Idso (Ella Lura) June 23, 1897 at Paullina, where she attended the Paullina schools and graduated from Paullina High School in 1915. After attending St. Olaf College for two years, she entered Northwestern Hospital School of Nursing in Minneapolis where she received her R.N. in 1920, after which she practiced nursing in Northfield until she retired.

She married Fred C. Wilson in 1945 and he passed away in 1965.

Graveside funeral services and committal services were conducted in Prairie View Cemetery, Paullina, at 11:00 a.m. Nov. 10, 1978, with burial in the family plot. Reverend Eldon Underdahl, a nephew, officiated, and David Idso Moe, a grand nephew, was the soloist. The Bierman Funeral Home of Northfield was in charge of arrangements.

She was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers: Alfred of Charles City, Oscar of Sioux Rapids, Otto of Fullerton, Calif., Chester of Paullina, and Ortman, who died in infancy; one sister, Mrs. Daniel Nelson (Esther) of Shanghai, China.

Immediate survivors are three sisters: Mrs. Vernon Floyd (Gertrude) of Kenyon, Minn., Mrs. Arthur G. Ellingson (Palma) of Northfield, Minn., and Mrs. William W. Taylor (Milda) of Laguna Hills, Calif.
