Funeral Services Held Saturday for Mrs. Anna Knuth

Mrs. R. B. (Anna) Knuth, 74 a resident of the Germantown and Paullina community her entire life, died Nov. 22 at the Sioux Valley hospital in Cherokee following a brief illness. In failing health for some time, she had entered the hospital on Monday and died early Wednesday morning. Funeral services were held at 1:30 Saturday at the Gaudian Funeral Home and at 2-00 in Zion Lutheran church. The Rev Paul Sohn officiated. Pallbearers were: Clarence Meyer, Norman Meyer, Duwayne Mesner, Howard Gebhart, Hillard Mueller and Al Hummel

Mrs. Knuth's immediate survivors are four sons, Gerhard of Spencer, Roland of Allen Park, Mich., Martin of Paullina and Richard of Mapleton; one brother, Otto Meyer, of Paullina and two sisters, Mrs. Ella Gebhart of Menagha, Minn, and Ida, Mrs. Fred Boesche, Paullina. Interment was at St. John cemetery, Germantown A complete obituary will be published next week.
