Mrs. Ermal HENDERSON, 74, died at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 29, 1971, at Sioux Valley Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She had lived in Cherokee & O'Brien counties most of her life. She had made her home at 503 Sumner with her mother, Emma & sister, Mary.

Born on 27 April 1897 at Oto, she married Carl Reusch on 14 January 1920. He died 14 July 1948.

She married Lawrence Henderson on 25 June 1951. He passed away on May 15, 1961.

Survivors are 3 daughters, Mrs. Glen (Violet) Goodwin of Spencer, Mrs. Robert (Rose) Alger Jr. of Milford, & Mrs. Loren (Macil) Leeds of Kansas City, Mo.; 5 Reusch sons, Floyd of Newburgh, Ind.; Carl & Dale of Orange City, Ia.; Harold of Kansas City, Mo.; Darrell of Cherokee; 5 Henderson step sons, Louis of Albert Lea, Minn.; Francis of Red Oak; Wilson of Price, Utah; Joe of Park Rapids, Minn.; & Merritt of Managa, Minn.; 3 step daughters, Beatrice of Minneapolis; Opal of Pacific Grove, Calif.; & Louise of Amery, Wisc.; 27 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Emma (Blackford) Moses of Cherokee; 4 sisters, Mary Moses of Cherokee; Mrs. Ilene Nelson of Davenport, Iowa; Mrs. Elsie Dabbelaere of East Moline, Ill.; & Alice Reusch of Greenville; and 2 brothers, Bill Moses of Spirit Lake & Wayne Moses of Fort Dodge.

Preceding her in death were her father, her husband, Lawrence on 15 May 1961, and 1 sister.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Grace Baptist Church in Cherokee with Pastor Albert Pearson and Pastor Francis Henderson officiating. Burial was in O'Brien - Liberty Cemetery in Calumet. Boothby Funeral Home was in charge.
