Mrs. Harm Seggerman Jr., 58, of rural Marcus, died July 22 at her home after a sudden illness.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m., July 25, at Peace Lutheran Church in Marcus. Burial was in Prairie View Cemetery at Paullina.

Mrs. Seggerman, the former Leona Holtgrewe, was born on Sept. 8, 1916 at Paullina and was married to Harm Seggerman on July 2, 1936 at Hinton. The couple farmed north of Marcus.

Survivors include the widow; five daughters, Mrs. James H. (Janke) Robinson of Lawton, Mrs. (Norma) Marvin Ehly of Afton, Mo., Mrs. Gayle (Mary) Scott of Cherokee, Mrs. Michael (Jane) Krang of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Julie at home; two sons, Harold of Lompoc, Calif., and PO 1 C Leonard Seggerman, stationed with the U.S. Navy in Hawaii; 10 grandchildren, her mother, Mrs. Anna Holtgrewe of Remsen; 10 sisters, Mrs. Carolin Jurgensen, Mrs. Lillian Ott and Mrs Walter Grimberg, all of Paullina, Mrs. Bill Ott, Miss Elsie Holgrewe and Mrs. Harry Bottjen, all of Remsen, Mrs. Harry Tesch of Primghar, Mrs. John Lower of Sioux City, Mrs. Carl Bottjen of Hawarden and Mrs. Shirley LeMoine of Mesa Ariz., and four brothers, Roy Holtgrewe of Boyden, Albert Holtgrewe of Bentonville, Ark., and Burdette and Benjamin Holtgrewe, both of Remsen.
