Funeral services for Julia B. Gaudian were held Monday, November 30, 1992, at 1:30 p.m. from the Sliefert Funeral Chapel in Storm Lake, Iowa. Father Paul-Louis Arts officiated. The pallbearers were Meridith Gaudian, Eugene Friedrichsen, Loren Friedrichsen, Gene Lyster, Jeffery Friedrichsen and Lynn Friedrichsen. The final resting place was Liberty Township Cemetery in Calumet, Iowa, under the direction of the Sliefert Funeral Home.

OBITUARY

Julia Beech Gaudian, the daughter of Paul and Justina Denault Beech, was born March 6, 1902, at Slayton, Minnesota. She was baptized and confirmed into the Catholic Faith at Curry, Minnesota. She attended grade school at Slayton.

Julia was united in marriage to Oscar Herman Gaudian at Slayton.

She passed away at Storm Lake on November 25, 1992, at the age of 90 years. Left to cherish her memory are four daughters: Romana Friedrichsen of Paullina, Katie Jackson of Canby, AR, Delphine Whalen of Seattle, WA, and Virginia Walrath of Albany, OR; one son, Meridith Gaudian of Storm Lake; 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Oscar.
