Services held for Leola Ann Reiter

Services in memory of Leola Ann Reiter were held Monday, February 27, 1995, at 2 p.m. at First English Lutheran Church in Spencer. Rev. Walter Quandt officiated. Casket bearers were Ed Monsch, Bob Morisch, Doug Rutter, Dennis Rutter, Marvin Bjork and Marvin Holtrop.

Interment was in North Lawn Memorial Park at Spencer. Warner Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
OBITUARY

Leola Ann Reiter was bom July 22, 1924, in Unionville, Missouri. In 1930, she was adopted by Theodore and Bertha Straub of Germantown, Iowa. She was baptized in the Christian faith on April 6, 1930, at St. John's Lutheran Church of Germantown. She received her education in the Germantown Lutheran Parochial School. Leola confirmed her Christian faith at Zion Lutheran Church in Paullina, Iowa, on May 22, 1938.

Leola married Harold George Reiter on February 10, 1944, tn the Germantown Lutheran Church. Throughout their marriage, they lived in the communities of Germantown, Milford and Spencer, where they farmed for many years. Since living in the Spencer area, Leola has been a member of the First English Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Reiter passed away at the Spencer Municipal Hospital on February 23, 1995, at the age of 70 She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, Harold on February 19, 1995.

Leola is survived by two brothers, James Hendricks and Melvin Straub of Clarinda, Iowa, several nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
