Services Held for Otto Jipp

Services for Otto H. Jipp were
held at 2:00 p.m . on Sunday, July
29. 1984, at the Zion United
Church of Christ at Calumet, Iowa
with the Rev. Donald Johnson
officiating.

Pallbearers were Dalton Rehder,
Robert Soukup, Clarence Peters,
Lepnard Rehder, Wayne Maass
and Kenneth Straub.
"How Great Thou Art" and
"My God and I" were sung by
Mrs. Pat Menke with Mrs. Florence
Rehder at the organ.

The final resting place is at
Liberty Township Cemetery, Calumet,
Iowa.

The arrangements were under
t h e care of t h e Gaudian-Eldridge
Funeral Home.

OBITUARY

Otto H. Jipp , the son of Friedrich
and Meta Paulsen Jipp , was
born March 22, 1900, in Wentorf,
Germany. He came to the United
States in 1923 to the Paullina area.
He was engaged in farming at the
time.

On February 10, 1926, he
was united in marriage to Dora
Runge. After their marriage, the
couple farmed in t h e Paullina area.
Dora passed away on March 13,
1979 in Primghar. Otto continued
farming until retiring in 1980 and
moving into Paullina.

On October 10, 1981, he was
united in marriage to Elsie Reimers
in Paullina. After their marriage,
the couple resided in Paullina.

Otto passed away on Thursday,
July 26, 1984, reaching the
age of 84 years, 4 months and 4 days.

Otto was a member of the Zion
United Church of Christ in Calumet.

He is survived by his wife, Elsie
of Paullina; two sons, Lester of
Worthington, Ohio; and Robert of
St. Charles, Missouri; one daughter,
Mrs. Axel (Ellen) Kimblad of
Paullina; three step-sons, Robert
Reimers of Austin, Texas, Randy
Reimers of Dalhart, Texas, and
Rodney Reimers of Cresent, Iowa;
10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren;
and 4 step grandchildren;
two sisters, Mrs. Rosa Toller of
Sioux City, and Mrs. Frieda Casten
of Chicago, Illinois; and a host of
other relatives a n d friends.

Otto was preceded in death by
his wife, Dora; parents and two
sisters and two brothers.
