Lyle Hulser Funeral Held at Savannah, Mo.

Funeral services were held at Savannah, Mo., Tuesday afternoon for Lyle Hulser, 51, former Sutherland resident, who passed away Saturday night, at a St. Joseph, Mo., hospital. He had undergone an operation a week before for a stomach ailment.

Lyle grew up in Sutherland and spent most of his life here. For the past few years he has been in business at Paullina, operating the Gamble Store and a truck box manufacturing business. He sold his business there last summer and with his wife and their son Darrel moved to Hamilton, Mo., where they purchased an acreage. However, he had spent little time at the their new home because of his failing health. The have spent most of the time at Savannah at the home of Mrs. Hulser's parents. Mrs. Mabel Gleason of Peterson, Mrs. Lloyd Gilbert and Otis Hulser were at Savannah Tuesday to attend the funeral.
