Mrs. Willet Cedar Buried Thursday at Everly

Funeral services were held at the Cobb-Werner chapel at Spencer Thursday afternoon for Mrs. Willet W. Cedar, 67, of Moneta, former resident of the Sutherland community. Rev. L. W. Rowse of the Sutherland Methodist church was in charge of the services. Burial was at Everly. Mrs. Cedar, the former Lora Cozad, was married to Willet Cedar at Newhall, Iowa, in 1902. In 1905 the family moved to Paullina and lived there and in the Sutherland and Primghar vicinities until 1936 when they moved to Moneta. Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Adean Miller of Torrance, Calif., three grandsons and other relatives.
