Severs Vein Bleeds To Death
B. O. Crooks, 82 Years Old Citizen Takes Life
Mr. Ben Crooks suffering from despondency severed the large vein on the inside of his thigh sometime last Saturday night and died from a loss of blood. He left a note saying no one was to blame for his deed. He had no financial worries and it was clearly a case of despondency.
The accident occurred at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Adolf Hagedorn while they were in Primghar last Saturday night. The body was not discovered till he was missed Sunday morning. Then a note was discovered in the barn.
