Mrs. Kenneth Weitzel

Mrs. Kenneth Weitzel 72, of Sutherland, died Sunday (Nov. 30, 1980), in a hospital at Hartley.

Services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Bethel Lutheran church at Sutherland. Rev. Leroy Riemer officiated. Burial was in Prairie View cemetery at Paullina under direction of the Baumgarten funeral home at Sutherland.

Mrs. Weitzel, the former Emma Wildman, was born Nov. 22, 1908, in O'Brien county. She graduated from Paullina high school in 1926.

She married Emil Jahn March 12, 1932, at Hinton. They made their home at Paullina. He died in 1950. She married Mr. Weitzel Jan. 18,1952, at Omaha. They lived at Sutherland.

She was a member of Bethel Lutheran church and the Town and Country saddle club.

Survivors are her husband; one son, John Jahn of Oskaloosa; one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Donna) Hicks of Sutherland; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
