Henry Wallace/ Lindsley Smalley

Sometime back I found some information which came from "Iowa State Gazeteer & Business Directory 1884-5 Vol 3". This information referred to a Henry Wallace and Lindsley Smalley as having a business - this business involved horsebreeding and blacksmithing. It was listed as being in Muscatine, Iowa. I am trying to determine if that Henry Wallace could have been my gr gr uncle. He had a brother (Jonathan) who lived in Muscatine for a while and his niece's husband (William Schwalm) was from there. I have not seen the article or the business listing that was in the Gazeteer, and I have not been able to find it again. I know I got it off the Internet and thought I got it off the Muscatine website. Can anyone help me to know where to look for this article again, and is there anyway to find out if Henry Wallace was in that area before or after the 1884-5 years. I have not found him in a census and do not even know if he was married. I would surely appreciate any help. Thanks, Phyllis
