Last rites for George Deahr, 22, West Liberty, were held at the United Methodist church, West Liberty, Jan. 27 with the Rev. Donald Thompson officiating. Burial was in Oak Ridge cemetery. Mr. Deahr died in Columbus Junction Jan. 25.

The son of Lloyd and Louis Yerington Deahr, he was born in Iowa City May 11, 1965 and graduated from West Liberty high school in 1985. He worked for Iowa Beef Processors, Columbus Junction.

He is survived by his father, West Liberty; his mother, Madison, Wis.; his grandparents, Mrs. Vada Yerington, Iowa City and Mrs. Mildred Deahr, Muscatine; a brother, Mike, West Liberty and a sister, Chris Magnuson, Wisconsin.
