Funeral services for Charley Wildasin, 88, Muscatine, were held Dec. 15, 1987 at Lacock Funeral Home in Wilton, with the Revs. Leland Eyres and Robert J. Davis Mayo officiating. Deb Meier was the organist and Willodene Lindle was the vocalist. Pallbearers were Steve Doering, Mike Vance, Bob Vance, Gary Wildasin, Chris Wildasin and Kevin Wildasin.
Mr. Wildasin died Dec. 11 at Muscatine General hospital.
The son of William and Bertha Hain Wildasin, he was born Dec. 5, 1899 in Wilton. He married Ada Tracy Feb. 2, 1922 in Wilton. He was a life member of the Trinity United Church of Christ. He had retired from farming in the Tipton, Moscow and Wilton areas.
Mr. Wildasin is survived by his wife; 2 sons, Raymond, Davenport and Don, Nichols; 2 daughters, Mrs. Don (Evelyn) Doering, Davenport and Mrs. Harvey (Darlene) Vance, Muscatine; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 3 sisters, Nora Duffe, Wilton; Blanche Johnson, Muscatine and Mrs. Curt (Odetta) Cromer, Clearwater, Fla. He was preceded in death by a son, 2 brothers and one sister.
