Funeral services for Earl P. Kraklio, 87, retired farmer, were held at St. Mary's Catholic church, Wilton, Nov. 19 with the Rev. Tom Reilman officiating. Burial was in Oakdale cemetery. A rosary was recited and a wake held Nov. 18.
Mr. Kraklio died at Mercy hospital, Davenport, Nov. 16.
The son of John and Amelia Miller Kraklio was born at Coal Valley, Ill. Feb, 28, 1900. He was married to Amanda Klindt in Davenport Feb. 14, 1923. The couple operated a dairy farm at Coal Valley before moving to the Wilton area. They retired from farming in 1968.
He was a member of the Muscatine County Farm Bureau and St. Mary's church.
He is survived by 4 sons, Kenneth, Davenport; Gary, Walcott; Darius, Wilton and Earl Jr., Moscow; 6 daughters, Mrs. Harold (Eleanor) Moeller and Mrs. Norman (Delores) Ruplinger, Davenport; Mrs. Melvin (Ruth) Paustian and Mrs. Willis (Marion) Kappeler, both of Walcott; Mrs. William (Phyllis) Kappeler, Stockton and Mrs. James (Sharon) Grunder, Wilton; 37 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren and a brother, Raymond, Donahue.
He was preceded in death by his wife, April 18, 1987; 2 daughters, 2 grandchildren; 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
