Funeral services for Ina Heathman, 61, West Liberty, were held Aug. 4, 1987 at Snider Funeral Home in West Liberty with the Rev. Ralph Farmer officiating. Burial was in Oakridge cemetery.

Mrs. Heathman died Aug. 1 at her home following an extended illness.

The daughter of Ray and Agnes Meador Dunn, she was born Nov. 25, 1925 in Polk City. She married Glenn Heathman in 1958 in Davenport. She was employed at the Veterans Administration hospital in Iowa City for 27 years as a supervisor in the diatetics department, where she received many government service awards.

Mrs. Heathman is survived by a son, Marvin Hall, West Liberty; 6 step-sons, Edward Heathman and Robert Heathman, both of Cedar Rapids; John Heathman, Toddville; Glen W. Heathman, Muscatine; Donald Heathman, Oregon and Terry Heathman, Texas; 3 step-daughters, Ila Wall, Center Point; Elsie Broyles, Arkansas and Joyce Ann Trimble, Tampa, Fla.; 25 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and a brother, Francis Dunn, Austin, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband.
