Last rites for Mrs. Leo (Ellen Emilene) Garrison, 72, were held in Muscatine Jan. 18 with Capt. Paul Thompson of the Salvation Army officiating. Burial was in Greenwood cemetery, Muscatine.

Mrs. Garrison died at her home in Muscatine Jan. 16.

The daughter of Joseph and Mary Dickert Moore, she was born in Mercer county, Illinois, Feb. 24, 1912. She was married to Leo Garrison at Kahoka, Mo. May 5, 1943. She was affiliated with the Salvation Army.

She is survived by her husband, 4 sons, William A. Phillips, Stanwood; Leo Garrison Jr., Columbus Junction; Jewel A. Garrison, Wapello and Richard Lee Garrison, Wilton; 7 daughters, Mrs. Burton (Juanita) West, Mrs. Charles (JoAnn) Luttrull, Mrs. Duane (Jaquline) Brown, Mrs. James (Charlene) Cozad and Mrs. John (Roberta) McCormick, all of Muscatine; Mrs. Wayne (Rozita) Bergen, Denmark; Leola Garner, Columbus Junction; 2 brothers, Ernest Moore, Muscatine and Charles Moore, Kansas; 45 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, a daughter and 3 brothers.
