Henry Zeidler Services To Be Held Tuesday
Funeral rites for Henry W. Zeidler, 92, who died in his sleep of a heart ailment Saturday morning, will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Ralph J. Wittich Funeral home. Dr. Claude W. Cooper, pastor of the First Methodist church, will be in charge and Masonic services also will be held at the funeral home under the auspices of Iowa lodge No. 2, A.F. and A.M. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery. The body is remaining at the funeral home.

Mr. Zeidler, whose residence was at 115 West Seventh street, had been a lifelong resident of Muscatine. he was a retired architect and draftsman, serving as a draftsman at the Roach and Musser Co for a period of 20 years. Mr. Zeidler was a graduate of the school of architecture of Iowa Wesleyan college, Mt. Pleasant.

Son of William and Christine Zoebel Zeidler, he was born in Muscatine on Jan. 2, 1859. He married Katherine Wittich in Muscatine. Mr. Zeidler was a member of the First Methodist church, of the Masonic, A.O.U.W. and Knights of Pythias lodges.

Surviving are one sone, Wesley H. Zeidler, a daughter, Mrs. Hulda Williams, three brothers, Charles Zeidler, E.J. Zeidler and Arthur Zeidler and two sisters, Mrs. Clara Steinmetz and Miss Hannah Zeidler, all of Muscatine. Four grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive.
He was preceded in death by his wife and one son, Walter.
