MERLE YOUNG, SR.

Services for Merle Young, Sr., 60, who died Monday t St. Anthony's hospital, Rock Island, were conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Geo. M. Wittich Funeral Home. the Rev. William Kettlitz, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, officiated. Mrs. George Hilliday served as organist.

The body was cremated following the services.

Merle was born in 1894. He passed away in 1955.
