Frank C. Windman, 79, of 1017 East Ninth St., died at 3 a.m. today at Muscatine General hospital.

A life resident of Muscatine, Mr. Windman was born Oct. 20, 188O, the son of William and Hattie Niemier Windman. He had farmed in the Muscatine vicinity.
Mr. Windman was married Oct. 16, 1912, to Maude R. McConnaha. He was a member of Grace Lutheran church.

Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Maude Windman; four daughters, Mrs. George E. Monson, Mrs. Vella Colley and Mrs. Robert P. Mahraun of Muscatine and Mrs. Eugene Winnings of Watkins, Minn,; three sons, Charles Windman of Muscatine,
Rev. E. P. Windman of Nevada, Ia and John Windman of Muscatine; one sister, Cora Windman of Muscatine; and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two grandchildren, five brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Grace Lutheran church, with Rev. C. R. Gesell officiating. The body is now at the George M. Wittich funeral home where friends may call after noon Saturday. Burial will be at Memorial Park.
