Fred Windman Is Found Dead; Rites On Monday
Fred Windman, 77, a lifelong resident of Muscatine count, was found dead this morning at his room at the Kent hotel on Walnut street.

Death had apparently occurred during the night.

Dr. I.H. Odell, Muscatine county coroner, who was informed of the death, said after an inquiry that death had resulted from natural causes and that there would be no inquest.

Mr. Windman, who had been employed as a farm laborer, was born in Muscatine county June 17, 1877, being a son of William and Yetta Neimeier Windman. He was of the Methodist faith. Mr. Windman, had never married.
Surviving are five brothers, William Windman and Charles Windman of the Lutheran Homes, Frank Windman, route 2 Muscatine, the Rev. Ernest Windman of Nevada, Ia. and John M Windman of Pontiac, Ill.; a sister, Miss Cora Windman of Carthage, Mo., along with several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents one brother and two sisters.

Services have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at the Fairbanks Home for Funerals. Burial will be at Klein cemetery. The body will remain at the funeral home pending services.
