Funeral services for Mrs. Edward (Hazel) Cohen, 82, 909 W. 8th St., Muscatine, were held in Muscatine May 3 with Dr. Kenneth Metcalf, Wesley United Methodist church, Muscatine, officiating. Burial was in Greenwood cemetery.

Mrs. Cohen died at Muscatine General hospital April 30.

The daughter of Arthur and Agnes Caldwell, she was born at Burlington June 10, 1900. She was married to Edward Cohen at Burlington March 21, 1923. They had lived in Muscatine since 1924. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist church.

She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Leo (Betty) Shuger, Wilton; 3 grandchildren, Stephen and Michael Shuger and Mrs. Kim (Lori) White, all of Wilton and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Donald, who was killed in Italy in World War II, a brother and a great-grandson.
