Funeral services for Mrs. Glen (Alma) Walker, 97, were held at West Liberty March 4 with the Rev. Frank Greenwood officiating. Burial was in Oak Ridge cemetery. A memorial fund has been established at the Snider Funeral home.
Mrs. Walker, a life resident of the West Liberty area, died at the Simpson Memorial home March 2.
The daughter of Henry and Ella Pingrey Pinney, she was born in Cedar county Aug. 31, 1885. She was married to Glen Walker in Cedar county Sept. 24, 1907. She was a member of the Methodist church.
Survivors include 6 sons, Lloyd, Jewell; Gaylord, Honolulu, Hawaii; Jim, Rochester and Lyle, Kenneth and Wayne, all of West Liberty; 4 daughters, Mrs. John (Gladys) Bach, Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Chet (Phyllis) Beach, Mrs. Leonard (Audrey) DeVepo and Mrs. Harold (Lois) Kirby, all of West Liberty; 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
