Last rites for Mrs. Lester (Arline) Foster, 66, were held in Muscatine March 4 with burial in Greenwood cemetery. Mrs. Foster died at her home in Muscatine March 1.

The daughter of Arthur and Olga Wiese Miler, she was born in Cedar county Aug. 30, 1916. She was married to Lester (Bud) Foster in Davenport May 2, 1937. She was a member of the Unitarian church in Davenport. She and her husband operated Foster's Market for many years.

Survivors include 2 sons, Thomas H., Blue Grass and Bruce A., Davenport; 4 daughters, Mrs. Joe (Carol) Massey, Springfield, MO: Mrs. Gary (Jane) Lemkau, Wheaton, IL; Sue Thomas, Fresno, CA and Mrs. John (Patti) Keen, Topeka, KS; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and her mother of Davenport.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1968, one sister and her father.
