Funeral services for Frances Wilson, 55, West Liberty, were held July 15 at the First United Church in West Liberty. The Rev. Ralph Farmer officiated and burial was in the Oak Ridge cemetery. Mrs. Wilson died July 12 at University hospitals in Iowa City following an extended illness.

She was born Aug. 29, 1926 in Morning Sun to Curtis and Esther Cummings Royer. She was a 1944 graduate of the Winfield-Scott township high school and graduated from the Burlington Hospital School of Nursing.

She married Donald Wilson Sept. 14, 1957 in Winfield and she was a member of the First United church.

Mrs. Wilson is survived by husband, 2 daughters, Debbie, at home and Beth Anne, Des Moines; 5 brothers, Lyle Royer, Burlington; Robert Royer and Curtis Royer Jr., Winfield; Clifford Royer, California and Bruce Royer and 2 sisters, Mrs. Jan Judd, Falls church, VA and Mrs. Betty Holliday.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
