April 22, 1982 - The Tipton Conservative

Funeral services for Wilma Gruemmer, 68, were held at St. Mary's Catholic church, Wilton, April 20 with the Rev. Daniel J. Kelly and Rev. John Kennedy officiating. Burial was in Oakdale cemetery, Wilton. Pallbearers were Brady, Brooks and Randy Gruemmer, Bob and Duane Hansen and Larry Ervin. Honorary pallbearers were Chris Hansen, Jay Gruemmer, Mark, Jim and Tim Stotlar, Tyler and Mitch Paintin. Mary Cole was organist.

Mrs. Gruemmer died at Iowa City April 16, 1982.

The daughter of Elmus and Elizabeth Fiehlay Campbell, she was born at Moscow Nov. 15, 1913. She was employed at Petersen's department store at the Muscatine Mall until she became ill approximately 2 years ago. She was a member of St. Mary's church.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Mrs. Patsy Sturms and Mrs. Elizabeth Gail (Bebe) Stotlar, Anaheim, Calif.; Linda Paintin, Wilton; 3 sons, Hank Jr., Houston, Texas; Bruce, Madison, Ind. and Joe, Thousand Oaks, Calif. and 23 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
