Funeral services for Prokop George Kasowski, 66, former operator of George's Steak House, Stanwood, were held in Muscatine Dec. 2 with burial in Greenwood cemetery, Muscatine. Mr. Kasowski, a resident of Muscatine, died at an Iowa City hospital Nov. 28.

Born in Poland Feb. 15, 1915, he had lived in the Muscatine area for 31 years. He had been employed at Thatcher in Muscatine for 15 years and operated George's Steak House in Stanwood for 15 years, driving from Muscatine each day. He sold the business to Phillips in July. It is now operated as the B & N Bar and Grill.

He was married to Florence Klink Davis in Muscatine in 1958.

He is survived by his wife, 2 sons, George, Charlotte and Tony, Washington D.C.; 2 daughters, Mrs. Amy Franck of California and Mrs. Margaret Lenz, Muscatine and 3 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
