Funeral services for Raymond Flagle, 79, Atalissa, were held Aug. 18 at Snider Funeral home, West Liberty. Burial was in Oak Ridge cemetery. Mr. Flagle died Aug. 15 at Lantern Park Care Center, Iowa City.

Raymond Flagle married Bernice Pierce in 1925. She died in 1958. He married Dorothea Markham in 1960 and she died in 1975. He was a former employee of the Rock Island Railroad and was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Muscatine Moose Lodge.

He is survived by a step-son, Raymond Oepping, Lincoln, NE; a sister, Alta Schindler, Iowa City and 2 brothers, Clarence, West Liberty and Lawrence, Moline, IL.
