Final rites for Donald Lee Babcock, 22, Durant, were held at Wilton March 23 with the Rev. Curtis Moermond officiating. Burial was in Muscatine Memorial park. Pallbearers were Brent and Bart Proctor, Bill Grunder, Jim King, Bob Haulk and Mark Funderburk.

Babcock died at his home in Durant March 19.

The son of Donald and Joyce Petersen Babcock, he was born in Muscatine Feb. 21, 1959. He was a member of Zion Lutheran church, Wilton.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred (Joyce) Kaufmann, Moscow; 2 brothers, Dirby Babcock and Dallas Kaufmann, both of Wilton; 2 sisters, Mrs. Randy (Dixie) Cain, Atalissa and Mrs. Jesse (Dawn) James, Wilton; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Babcock, Wilton and Martha Kaufmann, Wilton.

He was preceded in death by his father.
