Funeral services for Mrs. Ralph (Pauline) Pelzer, 83, will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic church, West Liberty, at 10 a.m. today (Dec. 31). The Rev. John Morrissey will officiate. Burial is in Mt. Calvary cemetery.

The daughter of John and Flora Rummelhart Knevel, she was born in Riverside Nov. 16, 1897.

Her marriage to Ralph Pelzer took place Sept. 5, 1917 in Riverside. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic church.

Survivors include 4 sons, Donald, West Liberty; Raymond, Atalissa and Paul and Richard, both of Tipton; 3 daughters, Mrs. James (Loretta) Ruess, West Liberty; Mrs. Leonard (Eleanor) McLachian, Iowa City and Mrs. Mary Murphy, Cedar Rapids; 31 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; one brother, Elmer, Storm Lake; and 3 sisters, Mrs. Catherine Muller, Marcus; Mrs. LaVerne Maxwell, Parkston, SD and Sister M. Consolata of Pewaukee, WI.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, 2 brothers and a sister.
