Funeral services for Elmer Henry Wiebel, 64, Moscow, were held at the Zion Lutheran church, Wilton, May 14 with the Rev. Curtis Moermond officiating. Burial was in Oakdale cemetery.

Pallbearers were Mark, Larry and Tony Giese, Gary Tharp, Loren Wiebel and Howard Fowler. Willis Clausen was organist and Ron Allmandinger vocalist.

Mr. Wiebel died at the Lutheran nursing home in Muscatine May 11.

The son of Wilhelm and Helen Brockelmann Wiebel, he was born at Wilton June 8, 1914. He was married to Anna Giese at Rock Island, Ill. Jan 22, 1944.

He was employed at Heinz at Muscatine for 29 years before retiring in 1975.

Mr. Wiebel is survived by his wife; a son, Gary, Moscow; a daughter, Mrs. James (Marlene) Oepping, Moscow; 2 grandsons and a brother, Arthur, Moscow.
