Final rites for Victor A. Samuelson, 70, were held at the Faith Baptist church, West Liberty, June 7, with the Rev. Burton Ankerberg officiating. Burial was in the Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Mr. Samuelson died at his home following a heart attack Sunday afternoon, June 4.

The son of Andrew and Jennie Heisel Samuelson, he was born at Memphis, Mo., Oct. 7, 1907.

He was married to Bonnie Harper at Fairfield, Nov. 8, 1926.

He farmed all his life until his retirement.

Survivors include his wife; 5 sons, Victor, Muscatine; L. Keith, Durant; J. Dennis, Atalissa, Arthur and Leo, Tipton; 4 daughters, Mrs. Darlene Meck, Burlington, Mrs. Emmajean Bowers, Rock Island, Ill., Mrs. Betty Lett, Tipton, Mrs. Vera Smith, West Liberty; 4 brothers, Vern and Ernest, Fairfield; Clarence, Washington; Lloyd, Central City; 5 sisters, Mrs. Pearl Leak, California; Mrs. Velma Garmore, Mt. Pleasant, Mrs. Vera Bailey, Burlington; Mrs. Geneva Seifert, Davenport, Mrs. Virginia Manley, Detroit, Mich., 29 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
