Funeral services for Harold Hinkhouse, 72, Atalissa, were held at Wilton Aug. 15 with the Rev. James Brun officiating. Burial was in Muscatine Memorial park, Muscatine.

Pallbearers were Duane, Robert, Lysle and LaVerne Chelf, Frank Braasch, Nevin Roberts, Durwood Keith, Paul Drumm and Dennis Tharp. Mrs. Bernice Graham was organist.

Mr. Hinkhouse died at University hospitals, Iowa City, Aug. 11.

He was married to Florence Jensen in Aledo, Ill. in 1930. He was a retired farmer.

He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Norman (Juanita) Abbott, Carpenteria, Calif.; 2 sons, Hilbert (Gene), Muscatine and Guy, Atalissa; 12 grandchildren and a brother, Roy, Wilton.
