Funeral services for Etta E. Morris, 78, rural Muscatine, were held July 6 at the Sweetland United Methodist church. The Riley Funeral Home, Muscatine, was in charge.

Mrs. Morris died July 3 at the Muscatine General Hospital.

The daughter of William and Ena Walker Philips, she was born in Van Buren county on February 2, 1899. She married Albert F. Morris November 26, 1926 in Chicago.

She is survived by 4 sons, Albert, Muscatine; James, West Liberty; Robert, East Moline, and Donald, Port Byron, Illinois; and one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Elizabeth) Kretschmar, Tipton; 24 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

She was preceded in death by her husband.
