Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Arp, 85, were held at West Liberty Aug. 26 with the Rev. Lawrence Carlton officiating. Burial was in Oak Ridge cemetery.

Mrs. Arp was found dead in her farm home near West Liberty Thursday.

The daughter of Harry and Adelaide Phelps Rockafellow, she was born in Muscatine county Sept. 22, 1888. She married Theodore Arp in West Liberty March 3, 1915. She was a lifelong resident of Cedar county and the West Liberty area.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1972. She is survived by 2 nephews, Herbert Parry, West Liberty and Vernon Parry, Davenport.
