Funeral services for Malinda Schlueter, 80, were held at Gloria Dei Lutheran church, Durant, Aug. 17 with the Rev. L. Jack Ehlers officiating. Burial was in the Durant cemetery.

Pallbearers were Loren Meyer, Roy and Ralph Lammers, Clifford Petersen, Evans Waller and John Brandt.

Miss Schlueter died at St. Luke's hospital, Davenport, Aug. 15 following a long illness.

The daughter of William and Bertha Hiech Schlueter, she was born in Muscatine county July 23, 1894 and had lived in Durant since 1967.

she was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran church and a 50 year member of the Royal Neighbors of America. She also held membership in the American Legion auxiliary.

She is survived by 2 brothers, Henry, Davenport and William, Durant. She was preceded in death by a brother and 2 sisters.
