Funeral services for Earl Pace, 92, Muscatine, father of Clyde Pace, Tipton, were held at Muscatine Dec. 23 with burial in the Harker cemetery. Mr. Pace died at the Hershey convalescent home in Muscatine Dec. 21.

Mr. Pace was born Sept. 27, 1881 in Muscatine county, the son of Elvin and Ida Henneher Pace. He was a life resident of the Muscatine area.

He married Edith B. Aldinger April 24, 1901 in Sweetland township.

Surviving are a son, Clyde, Tipton; a daughter, Mrs. Francis (Marjorie) White, Wilton; 2 brothers, Cash, Muscatine, and M. P. (John), California; 2 sisters, Mrs. Mable Darting, Wilton, and Mrs. Amanda Martin, Muscatine; 7 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife and 4 brothers.
